SHOE/ BOOTS/ SANDALS REPAIR Whether   it   is   a   pair   of   thin-soled   Italian   loafers   or   a pair   of   American   made   leather   shoes,   a   fancy   pair   of Louboutin,   a   relaxed   pair   of   flats   we   can   keep   your shoes   looking   and   feeling   their   best.   Using   only   the finest   materials,   we   will   resole,   re-heel   and   refinish your shoes. SHOE SHINE SERVICE When   getting   your   shoes   shined   at   North   County,   we first   clean   your   shoes   to   remove   any   dirt   or   dust,   then we   use   a   dry   cleaning   agent   to   remove   any   old   wax build   up   on   the   leather.   After   that   we   condition   the leather   to   make   it   resilient   and   soft   and   then   finish   by sealing    the    shoe    with    a    high    quality    leather    luster cream to polish the leather to a high shine finish.. SHOE DYEING    DO   YOU   WAN   TO   BRING   YOUR   SHOES   BACK   TO   THE ORIGINAL   STATE?   All   we   need   from   you   is   a   sample   of the   color   you   would   like   them   to   be   so   our   expert craftsmen   can   repair   any   broken   straps,   worn   corners and   tears,   see   to   it   that   your   shoe   color   will   match   the color of your choice HEEL REPAIR The   Top   Lift   /   Heel   Lift   is   the   part   at   the   end   of   your heel   that   comes   in   contact   with   the   ground.   It   can either   be   in   rubber   or   leather   or   a   combination   of both   depending   on   the   style   of   footwear.   Heel   repair includes    when    possible:    heights    shortening,    broken heels,   heel   replacement,   recovering   heels   and   recon - struction. We   carry   an   assortment   of   plastic   and   metal   taps   that are   applied   onto   the   toe   and/or   heel.   Taps   are   used   as an   added   layer   of   protection   on   the   two   areas   that wear   out   the   fastest   from   normal   use:   the   tips   of   your soles and the outer edges of your heel. For   women’s   shoes,   please   note   that   heel   taps   can   not be   applied   to   stiletto   heels.   As   for   men’s   shoes,   we also   offer   a   metal   tip   that   is   built   into   the   tip   of   your sole   versus   nailing   a   tap   onto   the   tip   of   sole,   which   we refer to as a french metal tip. SOLE REPAIR- SOLE GUARD - PROTECTIVE SOLE For    styles    that    need    leather    sole    replacement    we carry   only   one   type:   HIGH   QUALITY!   There   are   two options   of   sole   repairs:   full   or   half,   which   we   match   to conform   to   the   original   design   of   your   footwear.   On high   heeled   footwear   we   would   only   do   a   half   sole;   a full sole can be done but is not needed. A   protective   sole   is   applied   to   extend   the   life   of   the sole and decrease slippage. The   tips   of   your   soles   and   outer   edges   of   your   heels are   the   two   areas   that   wear   out   the   fastest   from   nor - mal   wear.   We   can   redo   only   the   tips   of   the   soles   either in    leather    or    rubber    to    coordinate    with    various styles/designs.    The    new    leather    or    rubber    tip    is applied so that it is flush with the sole. SHOE/BOOT STRETCHING Shoes   do   stretch   out   naturally   so   we   recommended that   you   try   to   break   them   in   first.   If   they   still   don’t feel    comfortable,    we    can    help    with    the    break-in process. TIP:   Please   keep   in   mind   that   anytime   a   shoe   or   boot is   stretched   for   width,   the   length   is   also   affected.   So   if the   width   is   an   issue   and   the   length   slightly   we   recom - mend   only   stretching   the   width.   If   you   are   not   sure what   needs   to   be   done,   you   may   show   us   or   send   us   a picture   of   where   your   footwear   hurts   to   our   email address   ,   and   we’ll   advise   what   can   be   done   to   aid   in comfort.
